… and so the journey begins for the poema couple Christie & Niko!
An iconic Greek Australian Wedding in Santorini!
The Poema couple Christie & Nikos from Australia travelled back to their Greek origins for an unforgettable destination wedding event in Greece and specifically in Santorini island.
An orthodox wedding ceremony held at the beautiful church Anastasi in the picturesque village Imerovigli.
Their wedding reception held at the beautiful hotel Rocabella.
Our bride’s favorite wedding flowers were orchids.
The most highly coveted of ornamental plants, the delicate, exotic and graceful orchid represents love, luxury, beauty and strength.
She was dreaming a cascading wedding bouquet filled with beautiful white orchids for her and her bridesmaids.
It was a sunny day with a crystal blue clear Sky, magically mirrored at the Aegean sea.
Groom and groomsmen in their elegant blue suits harmonized perfectly with the colors of the sea and the sky contrasting with an amazing way the white traditional architecture of the island and the hotel Rocabella.
Our beautiful bride wore a stunning lace wedding dress made from Nektaria. The dresses of her bridesmaids were also very nice and stylish.
They both love Greek traditions and they dreamed to include many of them at their Greek wedding.
Christie arrived at her ceremony with a donkey and greek traditional musicians playing along her way to the orthodox church.
Elegant and timeless white was the main color at this beautiful wedding event.
Their wedding crowns (stefana) were made from real fresh olives just like the groom’s and groomsmen buttonholes.
The wedding favors were beautiful luggage tags with the message Όπου υπάρχει αγάπη υπάρχει ζωή’ (where there is love there is life) and so the journey begun for our couple Christie and Nikos!
Words are not enough to describe their wonderful party, accompanied with a live greek band, greek traditional music and kalamatiano, and non stop dance until late night.
Συγχαρητήρια (congratulations) Christie & Niko !
